I was inspired to study medicine by my 4th grade science teacher. The first physician in my family, I did my undergrad work at Northwestern University, where I met my husband Philip. After completing my residency, we moved back to Colorado Springs, Phil's home town. Since joining Mountain View Medical Group in 1994, I've been a strong proponent of preventative medical care. Currently, I work half time, so I can spend more time with my three daughters. I also serve on the Board of Directors of Centura Health, the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, and the Rocky Mountain Women's Film Festival. In my spare time, I enjoy performing in musical theatre, climbing 14ers, reading and travel.
