The most rewarding part of Ophthalmology is improving each patient's quality of life. There is something delightful in knowing that a child's school work has improved because of new glasses, or knowing a grandmother can live independently because of improved vision after cataract surgery. My introduction to eye care was at Indiana University. In 1995 I completed an Ophthalmology residency, and since then I have enjoyed a comprehensive eye care practice. My area of subspecialty training is in pediatric and adult strabismus. It is a wonderful privilege to work in Colorado Springs and to be part of Mountain View Medical Group.
