Whenever anyone asks me how I decided to become a podiatrist, I tell them I didn't decide: I was always supposed to be a podiatrist. I enjoy the challenges and variety of all the different conditions that I treat, including foot fractures, diabetic foot conditions, heel pain, foot deformities requiring surgery and sports injuries. Since I've been athletically active throughout my life, I must admit that I have a soft spot in my heart for the athletes I've treated, from Little League players to Olympians and professionals.
